“We wanted writing tools to disappear into the workflow, not become another tab you have to think about. Nova exists so teams stop staring at blank pages.”
— Elena Cho, Founder & CEO, Nova AI

The blank page problem

Before Nova AI, Elena spent four years running content operations and watching writers lose time just getting started. Every tool added another tab and another step.

That friction became the founding question: what would writing tools look like if they did not feel like tools at all?

Building Nova AI

Elena started Nova AI in 2025 with two former writers. The first version was deliberately narrow—a single path from rough prompt to useful draft inside the tools teams already used.

The moment it clicked

A support team began using Nova AI for help-center drafts, and usage quadrupled in one month. Writing had stopped feeling like a chore.

Advice for other founders

Do not build the tool you would want to demo. Build the tool you would want to disappear.

Where Nova AI is headed

The team is focused on multi-step content—briefs, outlines, and complete drafts generated as one connected workflow.
